Safe and Well at Coffee Project
Living in a world with a pandemic going around is definitely not something that we dreamed of nor something that we saw coming. We’ve been through phases of different lockdowns for more than a year already. With each lockdown due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), everyone is affected - may it be physically, mentally, emotionally or even spiritually. No one is exempted from experiencing challenges and struggles. This June, Coffee Project’s goal is to make you feel safe and well in all aspects.
Coffee Project also has to navigate different situations to ensure the health and safety of our customers. Now that the government is slowly easing up the restrictions, we know how much you miss going out and about with your friends while sipping on a cup of coffee or being refreshed by some of our delicious frappes or tasty iced drinks. If you live in a condo in Manila, we're pretty sure that there are Coffee Project stores near you so it'd be easy to take a walk and enjoy some fresh air. In addition, we know what your biggest question is. Is it safe to dine-in already? With Coffee Project, we assure you that we are imposing best practices to safeguard our customers and employees. Whether you prefer dine-in or delivery, we are focused on keeping your food safe, clean and properly handled.
For delivery orders, we accept cashless transactions through online payment and other payment gateways such as Lyka Gems, Shopee Pay, GCASH or Paymaya. For easy contact tracing, we have also given delivery tags where you can see the name of the staff who prepared your order. Delivery orders are also secured so it would not leak or be exposed. For those who plan to dine and enjoy the rustic vibe of Coffee Project, our staff wears masks and we strictly observe social distancing. In addition to this, we disinfect the tables, equipment, and high touch surfaces. Barriers are also placed on the tables, which is considered to be the new normal in today’s current situation. Most importantly, checking of temperature and registration through our QR code is a must before entering the store for proper contact tracing.
Aside from the safety protocols of our customers, we would like to extend a helping hand for you to cope with the pandemic mentally and emotionally. We understand that there have been delayed milestones, goals and plans. Maybe, you were planning a trip with your family or maybe you were planning to buy a house and lot in the Philippines this year. You can always strive to achieve your goals and more opportunities will come your way. Whatever it is that you are going through right now, we hope that you will overcome those with Coffee Project’s word of affirmation posted every day on our Facebook and Instagram account.
One of the most exciting activities this June is that we will be releasing a self-care routine challenge. It is proven to reduce anxiety, stress and depression. It will also power you up and boost your mood as you look forward to every challenge that you are bound to do for a certain day. If you are reading this, our first challenge for you is to remember three things that you are grateful for. With everything that is happening, we tend to overlook the simple things such as waking up to the person you love next to you or even having some fun conversations with your loved ones while you are drinking your favorite cup of coffee. Consider those little things as precious and a new memory to cherish.
For some people, the pandemic has also made them discover new hobbies or passions. One of the most popular hobbies booming today is taking care of plants. It is like everyone we know is going through some plant parenthood. If you think about it, it is actually a good thing as you bring in fresh air to the people surrounding you at home.
If you are interested in discovering a new hobby, you can check out our Youtube channel as we also have video tutorials that might be according to your liking. On the other hand, for those who are into fitness who enjoy physical exercises and activities, we will also be releasing some easy Yoga exercises for you to follow. It is the best way to keep ourselves busy while keeping our body fit and healthy!
Just in case the pandemic gives you ample time, reading a book is also a good way to spend your time. It can be a good escape as books have the power to take us to another world. The characters can make us feel that we are part of their journey. Learn new things about life as you read the story of each character. Stay tuned as we will also be recommending books that are good for your soul.
Another challenge that we are facing is when we transitioned to working from home. They say that it is more difficult to balance your time when you are at home. Keep in mind that it is important to take a breather and go for a little walk every time you feel overworked. The feeling of being overwhelmed will just affect your productivity level. Take time to meditate for at least 10 to 15 minutes daily. You can also treat yourself and grab your comfort food to relieve stress.
In general, the pandemic should not stop us from finding our happiness. It may have affected you in ways that you did not expect, but always find a way to see the light for you to be safe and well physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
